Infant Mental Health & Parent-Infant Relationship Training for Family Hubs & Early Years Services

GroBrain helps NHS Trusts, local authorities, Family Hubs and early years services strengthen parent-infant relationships. Our training and unique visual resources help frontline staff explain infant brain development, emotional regulation and the importance of early relationships in simple ways that parents understand, remember and act on.

Over the last 18 years, GroBrain has trained more than 3,500+ practitioners, and worked with 15 NHS Trusts and 28 councils across England and Wales. GroBrain now also forms part of the offer within a number of Family Hub services.

Family Hub evaluations have shown statistically significant improvements in parental warmth, alongside improvements in parent’s understanding of infant brain development, bonding and how to respond to their baby’s crying.

Our average client partnership lasts six years (often more), reflecting the quality of our training, the practical support we provide and the lasting impact our programmes deliver.

The Parent-Infant Foundation* has recommended that:
