Grobrain offers courses for professionals that give the underpinning knowledge and skills to help parents raise emotionally healthy infants. Courses are available face-to-face or online.
We train health visitors, midwives, parent practitioners, children’s centre staff, nursery nurses, family support workers and anyone wishing to promote infant mental health. There are two face-to-face courses currently available (delivered in a live setting), as well as a shortened online option for the Foundation Day (see below).
THE FOUNDATION DAY is an introduction to the concepts and GroBrain methodology.
It equips you to talk to parents on a 1-2-1 basis about bonding and brain development.
You learn how to use our unique visual tools to explain these complex topics in less than 10 minutes!

Online Foundation Course
ONLINE FOUNDATION COURSE
This course is a shortened version of our face-to-face Foundation Day. It teaches you a simple way to explain how parents 'wire up' their baby's brain, including the stress response, using the GroBrain Resource Pack that accompanies the training which is sent to you by post.
(Topics not currently covered on the online course are attachment and attunement.)
To access and pay for this course, go to our dedicated training website grobrain-learning.com
THE FACILITATOR DAY is for those with existing experience/training in facilitating parenting groups.
It equips you to deliver our 4-session GroBrain Baby Course or GroBrain Antenatal Course.
Trainees must have attended a GroBrain Foundation Day (or the online course) first, to ensure that they are familiar with the required underpinning knowledge and GroBrain methodology.
